The short version
We built Dream Interpreter so that you can use it without an account and without leaving a trail of dreams behind. We do not store the dreams you submit or the interpretations you receive, and we collect only the minimum needed to keep the site running, secure and improving.
This page explains, in plain language, what data is processed, by whom and why. Dream Interpreter is operated by Appriqa.
Your dream text
To generate an interpretation, the dream text you type, the approach you select and your language are sent to a third-party large-language-model provider. That provider processes the text to produce the interpretation and returns it to your browser.
We do not save the dream or the interpretation on our servers, and we do not build profiles from them. Please avoid including names, addresses or other details that could identify you or someone else — they are not needed for a good interpretation.
Cookies and similar technologies
Language preference: a small cookie called dream_lang remembers which language you chose so that the site opens in it next time. Your browser may also keep a draft of your dream text locally on your device until you clear it.
Google Analytics: we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used — for example, which pages are visited and from which countries. This data is aggregated and helps us decide what to improve.
reCAPTCHA: the dream form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA v3, which helps us block automated abuse. reCAPTCHA may collect device and interaction data and is subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Your rights
Because we do not keep your dreams, there is usually nothing to delete. Still, you can contact us at any time to ask what data we hold about you, to request its correction or removal, or to object to how it is used. Where a right applies under the law of your country, we will honour it.
You can also control cookies through your browser settings and opt out of Google Analytics using Google's own tools.
